VeraCrypt Setup 1.25.7.exe damit win7 hdd verschlüsselt, und mit veracrypt-1.26.24-Ubuntu-24.04-amd64.deb kann ich aber unter ubuntu 24.04 nicht zugreifen.

Und, hast du das gemacht wie empfohlen? Soweit ich sehe, willst du doch eine komplett verschlüsselte Partition mounten (und nicht nur einen Container), oder?

omg ich hab das übersehen, danke, man muss bei der pwd eingabe dann optionen anklicken, dann erweitert sich das gui und man kann diese option aktivieren und dann funktioniert es.

Damit ist veracrypt eine gute option, ich bekomme mit ner sata ssd auch gute schreibraten, so als wäre es nicht verschlüsselt.

Ubuntu LUKS verwende ich schon jahrelang und hatte nie probleme

Ab Android 7 ist mit der Sperre auch das Dateisystem verschlüsselt

Verschlüsselung ist auf halbwegs aktuellen Systemen in der Reaktionszeit transparent. Mein T470p (Modelljahr 2017) arbeitet mit vollverschlüsseltem System (hier LUKS) nicht merklich langsamer als mit offenem.
