Schön wäre es. Aber die Suche im Dateimanager scheint mir für Suchmuster keine Shell-Globs zu verwenden, sondern etwas eigenes. So ähnlich wie MS-DOS-Wildcards. Das Problem betrifft aber nicht nur Thunar, sondern gleichermaßen auch Nautilus.

Ich habe mir mal Thunars Quellcode besorgt. In thunar-list-model.c in Zeile 2755 steht der Match. Es wird hier g_pattern_match_string
verwendet, das eine Funktion in der GLib ist, in deren Dokumentation sich dieser schöne Absatz findet:
Note that in contrast to glob(), the '/' character can be matched by the wildcards, there are no '[...]' character ranges and '*' and '?' can not be escaped to include them literally in a pattern.
