Ich weiß nicht, ob ich an dieser Stelle richtig bin...

Ich versuche Ubuntu One zu nutzen, leider scheint es unter Windows Probleme. Entweder ich kann es gar nicht starten und es kommt eine Fehlermeldung: "Sorry, an error has occurred and Ubuntu one needs to close..." (Das aber anscheinend nur unter einem 64-bit-System), oder es startet und möchte dass ich mich anmelde, akzetpiert aber weder Passwort noch Mailadresse, angeblich falsch...... Unter Linux läuft aber alles, auf der "login.ubuntu.com"-Seite kann ich mich auch problemlos anmelden....

Wäre doch schön, Systemübergreifend das Ganze anzuwenden zu können..... Auf der Ubuntu-One-Seite kommt man auch nicht so richtig weiter....

Kennt jemand dieses Problem???

ich habe exakt das gleiche Problem. Bei einem 32Bit Windows funktioniert es bei dir?

Da gibts auch Probleme. Ich mach es jetzt einfach übers Internet, da geht das....

Bei mir lauft Ubuntu One auch nicht mehr seit aktualisierung auf 12.04 64 bit, kommt ständig die meldung:

Bei mir geht es weder unter 32-bit noch unter 64-bit Win 7, unter Linux hab ichs dann gar nicht mehr probiert. Ich bleib bei Dropbox, das geht ☺

Ich habe das Problem mit der Anmeldung nach folgender Mail mit dem ersten Weg gelöst:

Hi, Apologies for the problems. This issue is likely due to a strange SSL certificate problem. The certificate you need is http://www.valicert.com/ and it appears for some reason your computer does not have this certificate, which is causing the Ubuntu One client to refuse the certificate.

Can you first try the following steps:

1. Go to https://one.ubuntu.com/ using Internet Explorer 2. Restart your computer 3. Install Ubuntu One again

If that doesn't work, please follow the steps below:

1. Open the Windows Control Panel 2. Click on "Internet Options" 3. Click the "Content" tab & then the "Clear SSL state" button 4. Click the "Certificates" button 5. Make sure the "Intended purpose" drop down is set to "<All>" 6. Click on the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" tab 7. Make sure there is an entry for http://www.valicert.com/ there & if there is not, please do the following: 7.1 Save this certificate to your Desktop: https://certs.godaddy.com/anonymous/repository.seam;jsessionid=81EMxaZCPZpCSnhYSGLtKw__.s2p02jb?streamfilename=valicert_class2_root.crt&actionMethod=anonymous%2Frepository.xhtml%3Arepository.streamFile%28%27%27%29&cid=52363 7.2 Click the "Import" button in the "Certificates" window 7.3 Click the "Next" button and then click the "Browse" button and select the valicert file on your desktop 7.4 Click the "Next" button until you get to the end and then click the "Finish" button 8. Jetzt läuft das Programm, stürzt aber nach kurzer Zeit mit Fehlermeldung "Sorry, an error has occurred and Ubuntu one needs to close..." ab.

Canonical hat mir jetzt mitgeteilt, dass der Fehler bekannt ist und mit der nächsten Version behoben wird. Warten mir's mal ab. Solange gibt es ja bekannte Alternativen zu Ubuntu One. 😐
