Hi,

komme bei einen Problem nicht weiter. Da Linuxmint ( angeblich, was man mir erzählt hat ) auf ubuntu aufbaut, dachte ich mir da ich im Linuxmintforum auch noch nicht weiter gekommen bin, ob mir vielleicht ein Ubuntuuser helfen könnte.

ich lese jetzt sicher nicht den ganzen anderen Beitrag komplett durch 😉

Informationen zum System, zum WLAN-Stick und der vorhandenen Treibermodule bitte:

Dann haben wir das ganz fix.

Hallo,
der erforderliche Treiber ist in Mint 13 Maya / Kernel 3.5.* standardmäßig enthalten. Hier wurde die Konfiguration durch manuelle Installation des Realtek Treibers und WLAN/NdisWrapper „zerschossen“. Ndiswrapper 1.57 aus den Repos ist hier außerdem fehlerhaft und funktioniert sowieso nicht.

Den Wrapper einstallieren:

sudo apt-get remove purge ndiswrapper-common ndiswrapper-utils-1.9 ndiswrapper-dkms
sudo rm -r /etc/ndiswrapper
sudo rm /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper 
sudo rm /etc/modules.conf

Den zusätzlichen Realtek Treiber sperren:

echo "blacklist 8192cu" | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

(sollte der Systemtreiber nicht funktionieren, kann man anschließend problemlos auf den anderen Realtek Treiber wechseln)

Neu starten, WLAN sollte nun direkt funktionieren:

lsmod | grep rtl8
iwconfig wlan0
ifconfig wlan0

gemacht. Mit wieder dem Ergebnis.

Da fehlt die Ausgabe nach modprobe und die Abfrage ohne Angabe der Schnittstelle wlan0!

Erneut bitte:

sudo modprobe -v rtl8192cu

Wurden weitere Updates, wie z.B. die Backport-Module installiert?

Soweit ok, vorher irgendwo vermutlich vertippt.

Eine Verbindung über WLAN wurde ebenfalls schon aufgebaut, allerdings wurde LAN (eth0) vorab nicht getrennt.

Hab jetzt nochmal einen Neustart gemacht, weil er die ganze Zeit "gesucht" hat und immer wieder den Wlankey verlangt hat. Jetzt noch den

da passiert nix, muss ich bestimmt wieder was weglassen.

Der sudo sed ... Befehl ist ok.

Funktioniert nicht immer beim ersten Versuch, da der Network-Manager die Schnittstelle belegt

sudo iwlist wlan0 scan

Einfach mehrfach wiederholen bis eine Anzeige erfolgt.

Ausnahme:

  • der eigene Router (Fritz-Box) arbeitet auf Kanal 12 oder 13

    • der WLAN-Stick unterstützt momentan nur die Kanäle 1-11

  • es sind keine anderen Netze in Reichweite

Maßnahmen:

  • ändere die Kanaleinstellung der Box zunächst auf Kanal 1

  • ändere die Verschlüsselung von gemischt WPA1/2 auf WPA2-CCMP

  • verwende dazu die Kabelverbindung
