Die Einleitung verwirrt mich:
Inhaltlich ist alles richtig. Aber was ist der Unterschied zwischen den beiden hier benannten Programmen? Es geht doch um „das (neue) Installationsprogramm“ und für das sollte im Artikel immer nur ein und derselbe Name verwendet werden. Vorschlag für den zweiten Satz:

Fehlende Snaps bei Standard:
Das ist jetzt nicht so viel, dass man das nicht auch direkt in diesem Artikel abbilden könnte. Die Frage ist halt, ob das zukünftig tatsächlich jemand überprüft und testet. Tja, gute Frage... Das was IMHO wichtig ist steht jetzt ja im Artikel drin: Standardinstallation = Desktop + Editor + Firefox (ist zwar etwas vereinfacht, aber IMHO sind das die relevanten Programme), alles andere ist nicht dabei. Ein Empfehlung, was besser ist, hängt ja von vielen Faktoren ab bzw. man muss für sich selber entscheiden, was Standardinstallation + nachinstallieren oder volle Installation - Programme nach Bedarf deinstallieren der bessere Weg ist. IMHO ein wäre eine kurzer, ergänzender Artikel, was in der Standardinstallation drin ist und was in der vollen Installation zusätzlich dazu kommt, nicht verkehrt. Ich habe den Artikel eigentlich über HowTo anlegen begonnen. Da ich aber zwischen offline- und online-Version hin- und herkopiert habe, möchte ich nicht ausschließen, dass da irgend etwas untergegangen ist, was zum HowTo gehört? Grundsätzlich will ich nicht einen der aktuellen Installations-Artikel im Wiki bearbeiten. Mir ging es vor allem darum, die Bilderstrecke soweit mal zusammenhängend irgendwo zu haben. Nach meinen (gescheiterten) Überarbeitungsversuchen des Themenkomplexes Installation in der Vergangenheit, bin ich für den Moment der Ansicht, dass sich ein HowTo pro Version solange leichter warten lässt, solange da jetzt der Umbruch bezüglich ubuntu-desktop-bootstrap besteht. Es gibt auch noch weitere gute Gründe für HowTos im Bereich Installation. Einen einheitliche Installationsartikel für alle gängigen LTS-Ubuntu-Versionen halte ich dann ab 26.04, vielleicht auch erst ab 28.04 für möglich. Im Prinzip ist es mir aber eigentlich egal, ob das ein HowTo oder ein Wiki-Artikel wird. Außerdem ist da ja erst mal nur meine Meinung. LG, Newubunti |

Hallo, ob Howto oder Wikiartikel unterscheidet sich ja in erster Instanz von den zu beachtenden Formalien. Wie die URL der Baustelle ist, ist sekundär - das kann das Wikiteam ja jederzeit ändern. Hallo Newubunti,
Etwas ist schon noch betroffen, denn bei meinem Test ist mir folgendes passiert: Die Tastatur bleibt auch bei dem Benutzerkonto auf US-Tastaur bei deutschem Text und beim Name ist es mir nicht aufgefallen, nur beim Passwort habe ich - benutzt, was dann ein / war. Falle beim Anmelden. Beim X-Server geht das ja mit Weiß jemand, ob in dieser Phase noch der X-Server aktiv ist oder schon Wayland werkelt ? Dann wäre die vorgenannte Terminaleingabe ein Workaround, wenn Buchstaben und Zeichen abweichend von der De-Tastatur zur US-Tastatur benutzt werden. Solange der Bug besteht, ist das Live- System nur in englisch nutzbar. Ist diese Annahme richtig? Nachtrag: Ich teste in einer |

Hallo,
Kann ich nicht bestätigen, weder für Ubuntu noch für Lubuntu 24.04. Da ich im Passwort * und # habe wäre mir das aufgefallen, da die beiden Zeichen auf einer US-Tastatur ganz anders liegen auf einer deutschen. Virtualisierer ist VMplayer, wobei das IMHO keine Rolle spielen sollte. Gruß, noisefloor |

Es funktioniert aber bei Ubuntu 24.04 auch über das Start-Menü (also nicht in der VM) bei mir nicht. Über das Setting > Region & Language auf Deutsch zu wechseln, stürzt das Programm ab. Die Tastatur lässt sich über Keyboard auf deutsch umstellen. |

Hallo, hab's gestern noch mal in einer anderem VMware VM auf einem anderen Rechener mit dem Beta-Iso von Ubuntu ausprobiert - funktioniert einwandfrei. Vielleicht solltest du ggf. zu dem Thema einen Thread im Supportforum starten. Abgsehen davon ist mir bei der Installation noch was bei der Aktualisierung des Installers aus dem Installer heraus aufgefallen, bei ich gleich in den Artikel ein. Gruß, noisefloor |

Hallo in die Runde,
1+ Einen Punkt habe ich noch: Wie kann die ISO-Datei auch als Live-Medium genutzt werden.
Damit gelingt es die Tastatur (habe ich mit Mate über Setup-Menü und nicht in einer VM getestet) auf deutsch umzustellen, aber jetzt ist keine Chance das Ausprobieren -Live/Try- zu nutzen. Der Punkt Baustelle/Ubuntu 24.04 Desktop installieren (Abschnitt „Installieren-oder-Ausprobieren“) erscheint nicht mehr. Hiermit setxkbmap de kann ich im Terimnal die Tastatur umstellen, aber dann bleibt das englische "Menu" und kein Menü. Über Spracheinstellung komme ich auf deutsch, es wird aber erst bei einem Neu-Start wirksam, das die Live-Nutzung beendet. Ist das jetzt vllt, auch wenn es nicht im Live-Modus deutsch gehen sollte, noch ein Hinweis in diesem Wiki hilfreich. Ich meine Reparatur usw. ... |
