Hallo zusammen,

ich habe jetzt mal endlich damit angefangen Ubuntu als Hauptsystem bei mir einzusetzen. Für das Studium benutze ich einen Lenovo X230 Tablet mit i5-Prozessor und habe damit ein kleines Problem.

Ich habe Ubuntu 12.10 installiert und anfangs lief alles super. Seit heute bleibt der Bildschirm nach dem Booten schwarz, es wird aber ein Cursor angezeigt. Wenn ich dann über die Konsole lightdm neu starte kommt der Anmeldebildschirm und das System funktioniert bis zum nächsten reboot wieder einwandfrei. Am System habe ich eigentlich nichts geändert, nur folgende Programme Installiert die vielleicht nicht Typisch sind: - Xournal - RStudio - Eclipse - Matlab - Fakturama - Magick Rotation

Kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen? Ein Workaround wie man lightdm automatisch neu starten kann würde ja erstmal ausreichen, denn das ganze ist ziemlich nervig!

Normal ist das nicht, könntest du eventuell die Dateien syslog und kern.log (aus dem Verzeichnis /var/log) per No Paste posten?

An sich könntest du lightdm bzw. die grafische Oberfläche mit Alt + Druck + K neu starten.

Update: Habe versucht lightm mit der Kombination neu zu starten, dann kommt aber folgendes: "This sysrq operation is disabled."

ich hab Euch mal die Logdatei mit fwts (deutsche Beschreibung in der Baustelle) auswerten lassen - vielleicht hilft es weiter. Was ich so auf die schnelle finde ist, dass das BIOS einige Macken hat (Zeile 15/16 ff, evtl. nach neuer Firmware suchen) und den OSI-String falsch interpretiert (kann man mit Bootoption acpi_osi="Linux" evtl. bereinigen). Vielleicht macht es Sinn das ganze ACPI mal bei der Live abzuschalten (acpi=off) bzw. andere Bootoptionen auszuprobieren.

Ich habe mal den Befehl

sudo fwts osilinux --log-format="%date %owner :" --log-width=130 --log-filter=INF,WRN,ERR,ADV,SUM -

ausgeführt und hier ist das Ergebnis, was mir nicht so viel sagt: fwts

Dann habe ich versucht die Bootoptionen anzupassen, was mir leider nicht geglückt ist, denn ich kam nicht in den Bootloader. Mir ist dabei aber aufgefallen, dass wenn ich beim Booten wenn das Ubuntu-Logo kommt und die Punkte daher wandern die ESC-Taste drücke der Login-Bildschirm jedes mal angezeigt wird.

UPDATE: Ich habe nun einen Workaround gefunden! 1. Das Programm xdiagnose starten 2. Haken bei "Boot-Mitteilungen anzeigen" setzen 3. Apply 4. Reboot

Wenns denn geklärt ist, ok.

Noch ein Hinweis zum Bootloader GRUB: Wenn der beim Starten nicht angezeigt wird, dann kann man das während des Startens auch erzwingen indem man die gedrückt hält. Wie man den Eintrag dann editiert steht in GRUB 2/Shell. Das ist nur für den einmaligen Start gedacht, um Bootoptionen auszuprobieren. Wenn man davon eine Option fest eintragen will/muss, dann geschieht dies über GRUB 2/Konfiguration.

Ich habe jetzt versucht Grub anzeigen zu lassen, aber es passiert nichts mit der Taste. Ich setzte den Thread aber mal auf Gelöst wenn das ok ist, denn es gibt ja immerhin ein Workaround 😉
