ich habe eine Neuinstallation von 12.10 und ebenfalls die Meldung

ist wohl normal und mein System übrigens auch Intel 2 * 2GHZ allerdings nur mit Radeon X1600 läuft flott

nein, die habe bei der Installation der fglrx-Treiber gelöscht (wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben: http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Grafikkarten/ATI/fglrx/Manuelle_Treiberinstallation)

Subjektiv würde ich sagen, das Systemverhalten ist besser geworden seit ich meine Google Kalender Ressource aus Akonadi gelöscht habe (die sowieso nie richtig funktioniert hat). Aber ruckeln tut's immernoch.
