im Alsamixer (siehe Anhang) kann ich noch immer nicht die Pegelstände verändern → sind auf 0, und somit auch kein Ton.
Die stehen nicht auf Null, sondern auf "O" wie "On" 😀 Da es digitale Kanäle sind (aka SPDIF) sind keine Regler da, die sind nur an oder aus. Du installierst jetzt pavucontrol und testest durch, ob du einen Ton raus bekommst. Wenn das nicht klappt, dann bitte die Ausgabe von
cat /proc/asound/cards hier einstellen. Dann können wir mit speaker-test die Kanäle gezielt testen.
Noch: warum 16.04 und nicht 18.04? Gibt's da einen zwingenden Grund?

Ja, da Dualsystem (Win7 u. Ubuntu) mittels Grub das gut läuft. Wenn ich das angehe auf nächstes LTS, dann zusammen mit Win10.x. Nur derzeit keinen Nerv und Zeit dafür → Diese Baustelle auf Sommer verschoben.

Wieso steht da "unplugged"?! 🙄 Ok, scheint aber keine Tonausgabe zu verhindern¹, dennoch merkwürdig... Also, dein Device heißt NVIDIA und zum Testen ginge das:
speaker-test -c2 -D hw:NVIDIA
# bzw
speaker-test -c2 -D plughw:NVIDIA
Wenn das keinen Erfolg zeitig, dann bitte
aplay -l ausführen. Da gibt es ggf noch Gerätenummern, die man auch durchprobieren kann/muss:
### Allgemein:
### speakertest -c2 -D hw:CARD,GERÄT
# zum Beispiel:
speaker-test -c2 -D hw:NVIDIA,3

Wieso steht da "unplugged"?! 🙄
... das kann ich leider nicht ergründen. Ich habe mal zwischendurch das HDMI-Kabel am Monitor ab/angesteckt (Bild war logischer weise weg und wieder da, mit kurzem Krachen der Lautsprecher). Danke für die Tipps und Hilfestellung. Sieht derzeit leider nicht gut aus. Speakertest war auch nicht erfolgreich, oder ich habe bei den Kommandos was falsch gemacht. -Ubuntu-PC:~$ aplay -l

Zeige noch aplay -L Öffne ein Terminal und lasse es offen alsactl monitor Stecke nun den HDMI mal ein und aus.Zeige auch hiervon die Ausgabe.

Danke. habe die Durchläufe gemacht, anbei das Ergebnis. Ton hab ich keinen gehört. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass ich vor dem Einloggen oben rechts das Lautsprechersymbol habe, nach dem Einloggen ist dies nicht mehr der Fall (das ist so seit dem ich das "Tonproblem" mit dem HDMI habe). -Ubuntu-PC:~$ speaker-test -c6 -D hw:CARD=NVidia,DEV=3
