Ich habe seit einigen Tagen das Problem, das ich mit Firefox keine Dateien mehr speichern / herunterladen kann. Ich habe versucht den Standardordner für Downloads von Firefox zu ändern. Dabei habe ich die Fehlermeldung

Inhalt von Downloads konnte nicht gelesen werden
Error opening directory '/home/moritz/Downloads': Permission denied

erhalten. (Ich würde ansich einen Screenshot einfügen, aber auch dazu fehlen Firefox die rechte und ich habe keine Drag-and-Drop Funktion gefunden.)

Kann mir jemand mit diesem Problem helfen?

Edit: Das selbe Problem liegt auch bei chromium-browser vor.

Edit 2: ich habe gerade Firefox über https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Firefox/Installation/PPA/#Ab-Ubuntu-22-04 als PPA installiert und nicht über snap, selbes Problem.

Tja, dann wirst Du durch unbedachten Umgang mit sudo den Eigentümer verbogen haben.

Deine Beschreibung gibt ja schon mal einen Anhaltspunkt, woran es liegen könnte, ist aber nicht ganz exakt: Hast Du versucht, den Standard-Ordner "Downloads" auf einen anderen zu ändern und dann trat das Problem auf? In welchen Ordner soll per Default gespeichert werden?

Ein paar zusätzliche Infos zum Problem wären gut. Bitte zeige daher hier im Codeblock der Ausgabe von folgendem Terminal-Befehl:

ls -hal

Die Sache mit dem Codeblock ist ganz einfach und gibt potentiellen Helfenden Informationen in übersichtlich lesbarer Form. Codeblock mußt Du nicht erklären, der Threadstarter hat bereits einen verwendet. Genau auf dessen Inhalt habe ich mich bezogen.

Screenshot braucht es dafür nicht, das ist unnötiger Traffic für beide Seiten und unnötiger Platzverbrauch auf den Servern.

Das könnte tatsächlich sein. Ich habe vor ein paar Tgaen (ich glaube es war Zoom) über eine .deb Datei installiert in meinem Downloads-Ordner. Dabei hatte ich das Problem, dass dem Nutzer _apt die nötigen Rechte gefehlt hätten und die Installation hat nicht geklappt. Ich weis nicht was hier das Problem war, ich habe Discord auch immer über eine .dep direkt im Downloads Ordner installiert. Auf jeden Fall habe ich da mit den Rechten rumhantiert. Es kann gut sein das ich dabei etwas zerschossen habe.
