In /etc/defaults/acpi-support steht in Jaunty über dem zu ändernden Eintrag folgender Hinweis:
# LEGACY BUILT IN SUSPEND SUPPORT (DEPRECATED)

# These options only work for the "acpi-support" suspend method. This is NOT
# recommended, but is retained for backward compatibility reasons.
Diese Optionen sind also veraltet/missbilligt. Gibt es denn eine neuere Methode?
Oder sind diese veralteten Optionen ein notwendiges übel? Ohne POST_VIDEO=false klappt es bei mir auch in Jaunty nicht und für's WLAN brauche ich außerdem noch MODULES="ath_pci".
