Hallo, main Laptop erkennt keinen zweiten Bildschirm. Deshalb wollte ich in den NVIDIA Settings mit hilfe von Prime von der Intel Karte auf die NVIDIA Karte umschalten. Jedoch kommt eine Error Meldung ohne Text. Im Anhang und hier unten sind hoffentlich alle Daten, die ihr benötigt.

Installiere den aktuellen proprietären Treiber nvidia:

1. Deinstalliere den proprietären Treiber nvidia:

   1	sudo apt-get purge nvidia-* && sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf{,_old}

2. Füge das PPA ~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa hinzu:

   1	sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa

3. Aktualisiere Paketquellen und Paketquellenlisten:

   1	sudo apt-get update

4. Installiere nvidia v340.24:

   1	sudo apt-get install libcuda1-340 nvidia-340-uvm nvidia-340 nvidia-libopencl1-340 nvidia-opencl-icd-340 nvidia-settings

5. Da die Fremdquelle eine sehr hohe Zahl weiterer brandaktueller Pakete anbietet, trage sie wieder aus:

   1	sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa

6. Aktualisiere Paketquellen, Paketquellenlisten und installierte Pakete:

   1	sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

7. Installiere das im ersten Schritt mit deinstallierte nvidia-prime:

   1	sudo apt-get install nvidia-prime

8. Reboote:

   1	sudo reboot

Danke, die NVIDIA Settings gehen nun. Ich habe jedoch einen zweiten "unknown display". Diesen muss ich deaktivieren, um meine Auflösung von 1920x1080 zu benutzen.Ein zweiter Bildschirm funktioniert jedoch nicht, da NVIDIA den "unknwon display" als meinen Hauptbildschirm sieht, welcher jedoch deaktiviert ist... Wie kann ich den los werden?

Funktioniert es, in den Autostart.

Terminal-Ausgaben sind pure Text. Davon macht man keinen unsinnigen Screenshot, sondern copypastet den in eine Codebox.

Hallo, ich habe nochmal den vollstängiden xrandr output. Die gezeigte Lösung funktioniert nicht, das unbekannte Display existiert noch immer. Ausserdem treten, wie in den Screenshots zu sehen einige Anzeigefehler auf. Diese sind nicht nur im Terminal zu sehen, sondern in jedem Programm. Dazu freezt Ubuntu regelmässig. Der ganze Bildschirm ist eingefroren, die Musik läuft jedoch noch. Wenn ich dann mit Alt + F1 in die Konsole wechsle und wieder zurück funktioniert alles wieder.
