snap Firefox 110.0-3 ist aktuell.
Ich weiß, würde ich auch gerne nutzen, ist auch installiert aber lässt sich nicht öffnen. Ich muss sagen, dass ich mit meinem geringen edv-technischen Verständnis da am Ende bin.

Das solltest Du bei Ubuntu 22.04 default bleiben, also snap. Was Du verbastelt hast, kann ich leider nicht sagen. |

Das würde ich ja auch gerne. Das Snap ist ja auch installiert, lässt sich aber nicht öffnen. Eine Neuinstallation scheitert daran, dass ich immer wieder gesagt bekomme, Feirefox sei schon installiert. Wenn ich wüsste wie ich Firefox neu installieren könnte, würde ich ja auch bei Snap bleiben. Das PPA habe ich sicherheitshalber wieder runtergeworfen. |

Ja, das verstehe ich bislang auch nicht. Bislang konnte ich mir in den meisten Fällen selbst helfen. Ob ich dabei imerm die beste Lösung gefunden hatte, weiß ich zwar nicht, aber ich kam zurecht. Hier stehe ich jetzt echt auf dem Schlauch, dem berühmten. |

Vielen Dank für den Link. Den habe ich mir angesehen, aber irgendwie nicht so wirklich verstanden. Wenn ich das alles richtig verstehe, müsste ich Firefox aktivieren. Das habe ich versucht, mit dem Kommando "enable" anstelle von "disable". Einen kleinen Nachtrag habe ich noch: Habe ich das so zu verstehen, dass Snap zunächst vollkommen deinstalliert werden sollte, um es dann neu zu installieren? Das würde ja eventuell auch Sinn machen. Ich werde aber erst einmal nichts unternehmen ohne von euch einen entsprechenden rat zu bekommen. Schon einmal vielen Dank dafür! |
