Epson veröffentlicht Treiber für Epson Perfection V39 auf ihrer Internetseite, in neuester Version (02-2021) ist es epsonscan2-bundle 6.6.2.2.x86_64.deb. Installiert mit Ubuntu Software. Das Programm sane lässt sich starten, der Scanner bekommt dann über USB Strom, man kann den Vorschau scannen. Aber beim scan stürzt sane ab. Das Epson-Programm Epson Scan 2 gestartet mit dem icon im Menu findet den scanner nicht.
Im Terminal hatte ich die Fehlernachricht, dass libqt5widgets5 fehlt. Habe über synaptic libqt5widgets5 nachinstalliert. Hier die Terminalausgabe:
