Drucken über cups , loop in error Log, Fehler nicht erkennbar

Hallo,

ich habe auf einem RasperryPi (vermutlich Modell 1) einen cups-Server installiert und versuche mit Ubuntu MATE als Client darüber zu drucken.

Der Raspi hat die IP 192.168.178.24

Ich kann über die Administrationsoberfläche https://192.168.178.24:631/printers/Brother_HL-1430_series den Drucker administrieren und auch eine Testseite darüber abschicken.

Am Client wurde mir in der Systemeinstellung der Drucker angeboten und ich habe ihn nur ausgewählt und aktiviert. Als Adresse steht da dnssd://Brother%20HL-1430%20series%20%40%20raspberrypi._ipp._tcp.local/cups?uuid=1885a0a9-95a0-3cad-4676-39073b890a51

Wenn ich vom Client aus drucken will, heißt es in der GUI "Ausführung läuft - Druckerfehler"

Schnellschuss, da ich nur Querlesen habe.

Der HL-1430 ist ein uraltes Schätzchen und zudem ein GDI-Drucker. 😉 Diese "Biester" sind meiner Erfahrung nach immer mit Vorsicht zu genießen.

Falls möglich, mit einem PCL-fähigen Drucker gegentesten oder zumindest den HL-1430 per Socket (Port 9100) über die IP des Raspi ansprechen.

"Filter failed" als Fehler zeigt ja schon das etwas nicht stimmt. Zeige mal 

lpc status

ls -l /usr/lib/cups/filter/

dpkg -l | egrep Brother
