Hallo zusammen,

habe das Problem das sich schon seit Tagen die Virensignaturen bei calmav nicht aktualisieren lassen. Wenn ich über ClamTK auf Aktualisieren klicke wird kurz gesucht aber es werden keine neuen Virensignaturen runtergeladen. Der aktuelle Stand auf dem Rechner sind 26231 aber es müssten eigentlich bereits 26278 Signaturen geben. Folgendes schon versucht:

ReceiveTimeout in etc/clamav/freshclam.conf kontrolliert, steht auf 0

über Terminal folgendes eingegeben sudo killall freshclam danach sudo freshclam kommt folgende Meldung

hat jemand eine Idee?

Wenn es dir schon um Sicherheit geht solltest du wohl erst mal auf eine Version wechseln, die noch unterstützt wird. Dann kommt auch eine neuere ClamAV-Version mit, wie du ja in der Fehlermeldung siehst, wird deine nicht mehr unterstützt. Der Schreibrechtehinweis kommt dazu.

Der Support von Ubuntu MATE 18.04 endete im April 2021.

erstmal Danke für die Antwort, das mit der Aktualisierung von Ubuntu 18.04 bis April 2021 hatte ich total vom Schirm, man, was die Zeit vergeht in vier Monaten ist schon wieder Weihnachten rum. Also habe das System auf Ubuntu-Mate 20.04 aktualisiert, leider ohne Erfolg. folgende Meldung:

Wie du siehst, es hat sich nichts geändert trotz update von 18.04 auf 20.04

Was meinst du mit "Der Schreibrechtehinweis kommt dazu"?

Die Meldung ist ziemlich eindeutig:

PS: Die Ubuntu Clamav Version ist wirklich hinterher. Auch auf Hirsute Hippo. Funkioniert aber trotzdem und kann auch frische Virensignaturen holen. Zumindest dann, wenn clamav-freshclam in das Database-Verzeichnis hineinschreiben darf.

wie du siehst hat sich das mit den Schreibrechten nach dem Update auf 20.04 erledigt (siehe Terminalausgabe von 17.44 Uhr). Die Virensignatur läßt sich trotzdem nicht aktualisieren.

Die Virensignaturen sind bereits aktuell. Zu oft updaten wird limitiert.

nein die Antivirensignaturen sind nicht aktuell, auch wenn es den anschein macht, dass ist ja das Problem es wird angezeigt aber nicht aktualisiert. Das er mir schreibt ,dass ich dann warten solll bis zum nächten Updateversuch weiß ich auch.

Ich selbst kümmere mich nicht mehr um die Aktualität der Signaturen, da dies stündlich von allein geschehen soll.
