Hallo,

ich habe jetzt einen Canon MAXIFY MB5455 Drucker.

das mit dem Treiber hat sofort geklappt. Drucken per USB und WLAN klappt auf Anhieb.

Habe diese Treiber verwendet.

Leider kann man beim Drucken nicht so viel einstellen. DPI, Druckqualität, Papierart, etc. kann man nicht auswählen. Kann man das editieren. Kann mich noch grob an einem alten Drucker erinnern ich meine auch Canon. Da hatte ich eine Datei editiert, dann konnte ich später mehr auswählen.

Scangear hat der auch sofort installiert. Aber da kann ich nur als PDF scannen. Die Qualität kann ich nicht einstellen bzw. dpi. Kann man auch hier etwas machen?

ich wollte das hier machen, damit mehr Auswahlmöglichkeiten beim Drucken haben. Wie z.B. Fotopapier oder höhere Qualität. Kann mir bitte jemand dabei helfen.

Ich habe es mit dem CUPS Treiber versucht. Da werden sehr viele Auswahlmöglicheiten, aber der druckt dann nicht.

Kann mir bitte jemand helfen. Für Windows ist der ein Super Drucker. Mit dem Standard Treiber habe ich kaum etwas zum Auswhählen. Nur Papiergröße und ob ich grau drucken möchte. Das wars. Ich möchte den ungern zurück senden. Wenn ich den hinbekommen könnte mit eurer Hilfe, dann kann man den ohne Probleme auch auf Linux nutzen. Ist auch ein Drucker der viel genutzt wird. Bestimmt gibt es noch ein paar Linux Nutzer, die den vielleicht nutzen oder nutzen möchten.

Kennt sich jemand mit so etwas aus? Hat jemand so etwas an seinem Druck auch gemacht, so dass man später mehr Auswahlmöglichkeiten hatte?
