Hm, wie meinst Du das? Bei mir erscheint gar nichts zum "einstellen" im Reiter "Aufnahme", solange Chrome nicht auf Aufnahme ist.
Ich habe dann mal im Reiter "Eingabegeräte" das externe und das interne Mic auf stumm geschaltet (nur noch "Monitor of eingebautes Tongerät" ist aktiv), in der Hoffnung, dass Chrome dann den Monitor wählt. Leider findet er dann gar keine Eingabequelle mehr.

In Zusammenhang mit VLC oder Chrome finde ich da nichts nach dem Muster alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1b.0.analog-stereo.monitor
. Die komplette Ausgabe hänge ich mal an.
Weiterhin gibt's bei mir die Dateien /etc/asound.conf oder ~/.asoundrc nicht. Was ich finde, ist:

Dieses Device dann mit set-default-source festnageln. Dann hat Chrome gar keine andere Wahl.
