Hallo,

bei mir fangen Youtube Videos nach einiger Zeit an zu ruckeln. Hardware Beschleunigung in Vivaldi ist aktiviert An der Hardware kann es auch nicht liegen, die ist brandneu Nach einem Neustart ist alles okay, bis es wieder anfängt. Auf Dauer ziemlich nervig... Irgendwelche Ideen?

Ich gehe davon aus dass deine Internetverbindung über W-Lan eingerichtet ist. Und daran dürfte es auch liegen.

Dann ruckelt das aber nicht, wenn nichts mehr im Puffer liegt, sondern stockt.

... und deswegen der Mainline Kernel? Brandneue Hardware ist immer so eine Sache ... ☹

4k YT Tube Video laufen lassen und mit den Terminalbefehlen top und sensors (Lm-Sensors) das Geschehen kontrollieren.

Ob Vivaldi so gut mit der Hardwaredecodierung klar kommt, ist doch fraglich.

trollsportverein Korrekt! Mit dem Standard 6.14er Kernel gibt es kein gescheites Bild

Problem tritt immer so nach 2-3 Stunden auf und hat nichts mit der Auflösung zu tun (ruckelt bei 480p und auch bei 1080p).

Wenn ich das gleiche Video in Freetube laufen lassen gibt es keine Ruckler - auch nicht bei Netflix, VLC; etc. (oder früher bei Windows)

Flatrate her oder hin, man muß es auch nicht übertreiben mit dem Traffic. Wie auch immer, offenbar schreibt Vivaldi dessen Cache oder das RAM voll. Dann flushe eben!

Etwas Hintergrund zur Youtube Besonderheit:

YouTube Switches to SABR for All Video Playback

    YouTube's Transition to SABR: YouTube has recently switched from the DASH protocol to a custom streaming technology called SABR (Server-Side Adaptive Bitrate). While both DASH and SABR were supported for a period of time, YouTube has now fully transitioned to SABR for all video playback across all YouTube clients, including the client type used by FreeTube. As a result, DASH support had been disabled for FreeTube users.
    Full SABR support: We plan to reintroduce support for multiple audio tracks once issue #7145 has been implemented. The SABR implementation is still a Work in Progress and is currently unstable with several known bugs. As such, we do not feel confident releasing it at this time.
