Klingt jedenfalls plausibel, dass da (durchwasauchimmer) die Zugriffsrechte auf den lo-Socket verwehrt wurden. @killkenny: Hast Du dieses Ping-Verhalten erst seit kurzem oder schon immer? |

Na, der Rechner ist relativ neu. Hab bestimmt schonmal gepingt damit. Aufgefallen ist es mir gestern das erste mal. |

übrigens ist ein ping mit sudo möglich. Reicht es da, die Rechte für den ping-Befehl zu ändern? Oder ist das keine so gute Idee? |

Die Rechte zur Ausführung des Programmes /usr/bin/ping/ sind ja da und sind auch nicht das Problem. Das Problem ist, dass der Benutzer nicht die Rechte hat, mit dem Programm ping auf den Netzwerk-Socket (offensichtlich auf keinen) zuzugreifen. Jetzt können hier so Programme wie AppArmor ihre Finger im Spiel haben, ich habe leider grad nicht den Hintergrund, um das weiter zu analysieren. |

Da wir nicht wissen, was du da am Rechner eingerichtet hast, lässt sich das schwerlich beantworten. Daher die Frage nach Von AppArmor lasse ich auch die Finger, allerdings ist Ubuntu so konfiguriert, das der Hauptbenutzer pingen kann. Irgendwas hast du also geändert — oder es ist kein Ubuntu, sondern eins der Ableger — bei denen wir nicht wissen, was sie anders machen. |
