Hallo Zusammen,

ich komme bekomme ein Problem nicht gelöst. Ich nutze primär ein Thinkpad X201T. Das hat ein integriertes WacomTablet über dem Display. Ich nutze es schon viele Jahre, allerdings diese Funktion nicht täglich. Aber es funktionierte immer tadellos.

Aktuell funktioniert es nicht - er erkennt das WacomTablet nicht mehr.

Ich benötige mal bitte Hilfe um dem Fehler auf die Spur zu kommen.

lsusb führt zu folgender Aussagen:

Also offenbar wird das Wacom gar nicht mehr erkannt. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich weiter vorgehen kann?

Habe gerade noch festgestellt, dass es bis zum Anmeldebildschirm funktioniert. Wenn ich mich an meinem System anmelde und er meinen Desktop geladen hat funktioniert es nicht mehr.

Der Befehl:

sudo sh -c "apt-get update && apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-wacom$(dpkg -S $(which Xorg) | grep -Eo -- "-hwe-[^:]*")"

ergibt:

Statusinformationen werden eingelesen.... Fertig
xserver-xorg-input-wacom ist schon die neueste Version (1:0.39.0-0ubuntu1).

Habe gerade festgestellt, dass während des bootens der Stift nur für eine kurze Zeit funktioniert. Ich sehe schon meine Anmeldefenster und er funktioniert noch. Während dessen werden aber weitere Dinge geladen und offenbar gestartet und wenn der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen ist (noch vor meiner Anmeldung) funktioniert er nicht mehr.

Gibt es niemanden, der mir einen Lösungsansatz geben kann? Das so einen Rechner fast keiner hat, ist mir schon klar. Aber wie kann ich raus bekommen, warum eine Peripherie während des Anmeldevorgangs "abgehängt" wird?

Also Bios können wir denke ich ausschließen - das wäre unlogisch. Zum einen ist das ja fest verbaute Hardware, also konnte das Bios zu allen Zeiten damit umgehen und zum anderen funktioniert es ja beim booten noch bis in den "Displaymanager" hinein.

zu 2.

Die Ausgabe bei lsmod ist:

wacom_w8001            24576  0

Damit kann ich leider nicht viel Anfangen. Bei

sudo modeprob wacom

führt er zwar aus - aber ändert sich nichts. Stift geht trotzdem nicht.

Ein Wechseln von GDM3 zu Lightdm hilft auch nicht. Allerdings habe ich zwischendurch von einem 22.04er USB Stick gebootet, bin dann in den RecoveryMode und habe von da aus weiter gebootet und dann ging es komplett.

Ich kann das aber nicht rekonstruieren, wenn ich direkt von Festplatte boote.

Ich glaube es bleibt mir nichts anderes übrig als die Maschine einmal komplett neu aufzusetzen.

Ich hätte halt gerne diese bootvorgang besser verstanden. Während der Displaymanager angezeigt wird - so ca. 3sek nach sichtbar werden stirbt das Wacom ab.

Dann kannst du Angaben zu deinem System KOMPLETT hier posten und hoffen, dass die Experten sich dafür interessieren und weiter helfen können. Ein anderer Lösungsansatz - du richtest dir bei ChatGPT oder einem anderen schlauen Orakel einen Account und fragst dich durch, um den Bootvorgang besser zu verstehen. Das Problem ist aber ähnlich wie hier im Forum - wie schaffe ich, die richtige Fragen zu stellen, zu formulieren? Vorteil der Orakel-Variante - die Antworten kommen schnell ☺.

Ok, also ich sehe da ab Zeile 487 in der log Datei Fehler in Bezug auf das Wacom. Hmmm... Aber meine Kenntnisse reichen nicht um die richtigen Schlussfolgerungen zu ziehen.
