Ich habe mir ein neues Notebook gekauft (HP 17-cp0272n) das nur wlan und kein LAN hat. Unter Windows 10 funktioniert das WLAN. Unter Ubuntu 20.04 bekomme ich keine Verbindung ins Internet. Kann mir jemand helfen das WLAN lauffähig zu bekommen?

Das ist die PCI-ID der WLAN-Hardware, für die kein Treiber geladen wurde, weil Ubuntu 20.04 dafür keinen hat. Du kannst versuchen, im Internet einen Treiber zu finden oder es mit Ubuntu 21.04 versuchen in der Hoffnung, das diese Version einen Treiber mitbringt. https://askubuntu.com/questions/1345224/realtek-rtl8852ae-issue-on-hp-15s-eq2028ur-xubuntu-20-04

Internetverbindung kannst du z.B. mit einem WLAN-Stick oder USB-Tethering beim Smartphone herstellen. Bitte melde dich auch wenn es klappt, dann kommt das ins Wiki.

Habe das ausprobiert. Es hat geklappt. Das WLAN funktioniert jetzt. Wegen einer Fehlermeldung musste ich mit sudo zwei Befehle ausführen. Ansonsten aber einwandfrei. | sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install make gcc linux-headers-$(uname -r) build-essential git
sudo git clone https://github.com/lwfinger/rtw89.git -b v5
cd rtw89
sudo make
sudo make install
### zum Laden und Entladen ###
sudo modprobe -r rtw89pci
sudo modprobe rtw89pci

Sobald ein Kernel upgrade gemacht wird, muss der Vorgang wiederholt werden.
