Hallo,

ich habe gerade noch einmal Ubuntu Touch installiert. Nun möchte ich über die Konsole das System aktualisieren. Leider funktioniert das nicht, da immer folgende Meldung erscheint:

Leider kann ich machen was ich will. Ob "clean" oder "autoremove", ich kann keinen Speicherplatz freigeben:

Was kann ich tun, um problemlos Updates zu installieren?

Ubuntu Touch hat ein spezielles Sicherheitskonzept, weshalb auch die Aktualisierung und Installation von Programmen anders funktioniert als am Desktop. Systemaktualisierungen kommen als sogenannte Over-The-Air Updates (OTAs). Apps werden über den Open Store installiert und aktualisiert. In den Systemeinstellungen findest du das Menü Aktualisierungen.

Klassische Programme aus den Ubuntupaketquellen sind in der Regel nicht für kleine Displays und Touch-Bedienung ausgelegt. Willst du sie trotzdem installieren, gibt es dafür mit Ubuntu Touch/Libertine eine Lösung.

Wie du gemerkt hast, ist apt aber auch installiert. Dass die Befehle fehlschlagen, liegt daran, dass das Wurzeldateisystem aus obigen Gründen nur lesbar eingehängt ist. Du kannst es aber natürlich auch schreibbar einhängen (z.B. mithilfe UT Tweak Tools) und apt nutzen, z.B. für Kommandozeilenprogramme. Die Änderungen können aber mit den normalen Systemaktualisierungen wieder verloren gehen.

Ah ok wieder etwas gelernt 😀 . Das Tweak Tool (App) habe ich mir installiert und Lesen, Schreiben aktiviert.

Nur leider kommt der Fehler immer noch mit dem Speicherplatz beim Updaten:

Wie kann ich das Problem lösen? Wie kann ich den Speicherplatz im besagten Ordner erhöhen?

Nur zum Verständnis...es ist also beim Touch nicht gedacht Updates über die Konsole einzuspielen? Wie wird dann das System geupdatet? Mir werden nur Aktualisierungen von den Apps angezeigt.

Korrekt. apt wird in Ubuntu Touch nicht zur Aktualisierung verwendet. Auf dem stabilen Kanal kommen Aktualisierungen planmäßig alle 6 Wochen, auf RC ein Mal pro Woche und auf dem Entwicklerkanal täglich.

Wenn du unbedingt trotzdem was mit apt machen willst, kannst du dir vorübergehend damit Platz schaffen:
