Hallo,
Ich habe seit letzter Woche ein Intel NUC6i7KYK. Ich war bis kurz vor Weihnachten zwölf Jahre lang OS X Nutzer und davor hatte ich schonmal Linux benutzt, trotzdem würde ich mich vorsichtshalber als blutigen Anfänger bezeichnen. Ich hatte anfänglich Probleme, überhaupt über das grub Menü zur Installation zu kommen. Mein Monitor (LG27UD58 UHD 4K) trennte einfach die Verbindung - sowohl bei direktem Start vom USB-Stick als auch bei der Installationsvariante. Schließlich habe ich das Problem nach ewigem Recherchieren mit nomodeset als Bootparameter gelöst und Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS installiert, was soweit auch läuft.
Das Problem jetzt ist, dass die grafische Oberfläche extrem langsam ist und ich screen tearing habe.
Langsam ist vor allem (aber nicht nur) der Firefox - weniger, aber immer noch nervig beim Scrollen durch Text (z. B. Ergebnisliste einer Suchmaschine oder die Forenübersicht) oder wie jetzt beim Tippen von Text - der Cursor laggt spürbar. Richtig schlimm wird es, wenn Grafiken ins Spiel kommen (z. B. Thumbnails auf Youtube oder die Netflix Browseseite).
Das tearing tritt eigentlich immer auf, wenn irgendwie Bewegung im Spiel ist:
- Logischerweise beim Abspielen von Videos: Youtube in Firefox und Chromium getestet, unterschiedliche Qualitäten (zwischen 1440p und 360p), Videos in VLC. Solange das Bild still ist oder nur rein- oder rausgezoomt wird, sehe ich kein tearing. Aber bei Bewegungen hoch-runter oder links-rechts sind die Videos unguckbar.
- Beim Scrollen durch Apps. Das betrifft nicht nur Browser sondern auch allgemein Listen in z. B. Ubuntu Software.
- Ich sehe es sogar, wenn ich auf dem Desktop den Rahmen ziehe, um mehrere Objekte gleichzeitig zu markieren.
Was ich auch festgestellt habe ist, dass in den Einstellungen zum Anzeigegerät ein Built-In-Display drin ist statt mein LG27UD58, ich dort die Auflösung nicht einstellen kann und eine Änderung des Vergrößerungsfaktors keine Auswirkungen hat. Wenn ich auf Anwenden klicke, kommt zwar die Nachfrage, ob ich die Einstellung beibehalten will, es hat sich aber nichts geändert, was beizubehalten wäre. Ich weiß nicht, was hier der Normalzustand wäre, aber vor allem Letzteres scheint mir nicht normal zu sein.
Aus anderen Diskussionen (z. B. https://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/kein-grafiktreiber-verfuegbar-wegen-nomodeset/ oder https://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/was-bewirkt-bzw-bedeutet-nomodeset/) schließe ich, dass die Ursache der nomodeset Parameter ist und daraus folgend ein nicht vorhandener/geladener Inteltreiber. Sehe ich das richtig und wenn ja, wie lässt sich das Problem lösen?
Ich habe auch schon versucht, nach der Installation einmal ohne nomodeset zu booten, aber da passiert das gleiche wie eingangs zu meinen ersten Installationsversuchen beschrieben: Monitor verliert das Signal.
