Hallo bin neu und ubuntu neu

Wie krieg ich meinen Netgear Wlan Stik zum laufen unter Ubuntu 14.04 Viel gelesen nix geht, weil auf meiner CD ndiswrapper nicht drauf ist auch der Ordner /n/ nicht.Hab ndiswrapper downgeloadet als tar.gz, weiß ich auch nicht weiter. Stick ist N600 WNDA3100V3. Habe einen Pc, daneben Win 7 auf eigener HDD. Die USB-Slots sind alle ok. Wieso wird der Stick nicht autom. erkannt.

Bus 004 Device 015: ID 0846:9014 NetGear, Inc.

Ein Gerät mit Realtek/MediakTek mt7662u/mt7612U a/c-Band Chipsatz. Wird nicht direkt unterstützt. Der Treiber muss manuell nachinstalliert werden. Funktion (hier) bislang unbekannt.

Den angepassten Treiber gibt es hier (Funktion/Qualität unbekannt): https://github.com/ccpaging/MT7612U_DPO_LinuxSTA

Da eher Probleme mit diesem Gerät zu erwarten sind, insbesondere was den Treiber betrifft, ist dieser Stick für Linux eher nicht zu empfehlen. Ndiswrapper kannst Du ebenfalls vergessen, dass wäre nur eine Notlösung bei älteren Geräten, nicht bei aktuellen a/c-Band Adaptern.
