Wer soll wissen, ob Du das brauchst, und was davon? Du brauchst wohl 99% davon nicht, und andere User auch nicht, aber es sind nicht immer die gleichen 99%, und der Zeitaufwand für jeden zu ermitteln, was er braucht, ist unökonomisch - v.a. mit den ganzen Plug-and-Playgeräten, die man jederzeit anstöpseln könnte.
Meine Anfänge mit Linux waren mit Novell das man einige Zeit ja kostenlos nutzen konnte. Suse konnte ich nicht, einfach zu sektiererisch deutsch.

Und die Qualität vieler Apps ist grottig gegen das was MS für ihre Telefone liefert (die sind ganz angenehm).
So allgemein dahingesprochen kann man dem schlecht widersprechen. Was konkret ist grottig?
Canonical sollte sich entscheiden Bezahl-Versionen rauszubringen. Meinetwegen ausgelagert. Stabilität und Kontinuität (auf deutsch Nachhaltigkeit) gegen Bezahlung. So wie Novell nur eben besser und cooler und ohne die NSA in der Hinterhand.
Tja, ich weiß nicht, ich will auch Stabilität, aber gratis, wie ich es von Linux seit 15 Jahren gewohnt bin. Stabilität war ein wichtiger Punkt überhaupt mit Linux zu arbeiten.
Wie wohl deutlich ist interessieren mich die Details hinter der Fassade mit zunehmenden Alter immer weniger. Mein Dank an die jungen Leute die sich da austoben.
