Guten Abend allerseits,

seit gestern (oder vorgestern, weiß ich nicht mehr so genau) bricht meine Netzwerkverbindung sporadisch ab - und das mehrmals pro Stunde. Das nm-applet zeigt dann oben rechts in der Leiste an, dass eine neue Netzwerkadresse bezogen wird. Das dauert dann ca. eine Minute und dann funktioniert's auch wieder, aber es ist schon arg nervig, weil jedes mal meine ICQ und IRC-Verbindung abbricht. Das letzte Update seit dem dieser Fehler auftritt hing mit dem Kernel zusammen, allerdings wurde - wenn ich das richtig in Erinnerung habe - Module des 2.6.24-19 geupdated, ich benutze aber den 2.6.24-21.

Ich habe im Moment absolut keine Ahnung wo ich da ansetzen könnte; ich bin selber gerade völlig ahnungslos hinsichtlich des richtigen Logs das ich hier posten könnte...

DHCP und vermutlich ein Problem mit der lease-Time normaler Weise wird ein Lease (Zeitspanne für die Zuteilung einer IP-Adresse) vor Ablauf erneuert und wenn ein lease bei der Anmeldung am Server abgelaufen sein sollte so wird eine neue IP-Adresse vom DHCP-Server abgefragt.

Schau mal im Router nach wie die Lease-Time eingestellt ist (ich stell die immer auf 30 Minuten ein) wenn das nicht hilft würde ich DHCP deaktivieren und feste IP-Adressen verwenden, was sich nebenbei bemerkt auch positiv auf die Erkennung der Rechner im LAN auswirkt weil man sich sozusagen den DNS-Server sparen kann wenn man feste IPs in die /etc/host einträgt

Hey!

Danke für die Antwort, ich markiere das jetzt mal als gelöst. Ich habe jetzt einfach DHCP deaktiviert und meine Netzwerkdaten selbst vergeben. Seit dem gab's keine Abbrüche mehr. Warum das jetzt alles so war, kann ich mir aber auch nicht aus dem gesagten erklären, denn an dem Router habe ich seit geschätzten 1,5 Jahren keine wesentlichen Einstellungen vorgenommen und die letzte unwesentliche Einstellung (Portforwarding) ist auch schon mehrere Monate her und ich hatte diese Art Probleme nie.

Wie gesagt, jetzt funktionierts. Vielen Dank!
