Hallo zusammen,
ich hab ja schon ein paar Probleme von mir hier gepostet.
Ich habe mir Kubuntu 8.04 letzte Woche installiert, bin dabei aber Neuling.
Jetzt habe ich offenbar eine falsche Paketquelle eingegeben, bekomme sie aber nicht mehr gelöscht, weil ich Adept Installationsprogramm und den Adept Manager nicht mehr öffnen kann (wollte eigentlich nur eine Quelle für Spiele einbinden 🙄 ).
Fehlermeldung lautet:

Die APT-Datenbank lässt sich nicht öffnen. Dies kann durch eine unsaubere APT-Einrichtung oder einem ähnlichen Problem verursacht worden sein. Starten Sie apt-setup und apt-get update in einem Terminal und kontrollieren Sie dann, ob dies das Problem gelöst hat.

Hab natürlich schon im Forum und Wiki gesucht, aber die Probleme/Antworten, die ich gefunden haben helfen mir nicht weiter. 😕
Hier mein sudo apt-get install -f:

Editiere die Datei mit einem Editor (natürlich mit Adminrechten) und entferne die Leerzeichen bei universe.

Kate habe ich mit Adminrechten geöffnet.
Muss ich jetzt nur meine source.list zu Kate kopieren, die Leertasten entfernen und dann speichern?
Und wenn ja: wo und unter welchem Namen soll ich das speichern?
Ich bitte nochmal um Hilfe, ich kenn mich doch nicht aus. 😕

Öffne Kate mit Adminrechten:

sudo kate

dann einfach in kate die /etc/apt/sources.list

öffnen und tuen was dir gesagt wurde. Danach einfach speichern!

Geht aber ehrlich gesagt immer noch nicht.
Muss ich jetzt nicht noch irgendwo dafür sorgen, dass die geänderte Liste 'benutzt' wird?

kubuntuuser86, Hast Du die veränderte sources.list auch wieder unter /etc/apt gespeichert?
Normalerweise geht das ja so:

sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list

imTerminal .
Veränderungen durchführen und die Datei speichern.
Danach das oben erwähnte zum neuen Einlesen der Datei.

Hab deinen angegebenen Code in Kate unter sources.list gespeichert (in dem Ordner, der automatisch da steht).

Sollte so aussehen:

Da ist das "triced" vom "res" um eine Zeile verrutscht.
Du kannst den CD-Eintrag aber auch mit einem # davor deaktivieren.
